I am going to USU to get my BS in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary science – emphasis on Equine Management and Science (geez, that's wordy haha). The only snag I am running into is I have to be a Utah resident. I plan on moving to Utah when I am 18, but I will still have to wait a year until I can call myself a resident. Here is a list of the courses I will have to take; which of these could I take online to start getting my credits?

I don't understand why it's come to this, but out of all the guys in my life I could pick and choose I choose a guy I met online. I know it's not normal, but he's honestly the only guy I've met that is just so…understanding of me. I met him a year ago while playing MW2 (Modern Warfare 2) and he told me I was a damn good COD player and I said thanks (over the mic) and he was surprised to find out I was a girl. Ever since then, we've been friends. I have his number and we text and we used to just text and now it's late night conversations, Skype calls, FaceTime calls, everything. I love everything about him: his humor, laugh, face, and his humbleness. He lives two states away from me though so it makes me sad. I think about him when I have a clear mind and it gives me solace. Before you say "That's weird" a woman named xMsHeartAttack and Youtubable met online via Xbox and are now engaged and they live in different states (They're on Youtube). So, it gives me hope. We're both 17, about to go the college, and him and a group of all my main people on PS3 are going to meet over the summer. I can't wait to see him in person, but I want to tell him how I feel. Hi me and my ex recently broke up . We when out for 3 years straight I'm 16 she's 19 and she broke up with me because she said she had some stuff on her mind I asked her if she wanted to talk about it and she was like no and she said she wants to take a break so I asked her are you sure? So I'm 17 and I have an opurtunity to go to cosmetology school and get my cosmetology license I would really like to do it. But I am moving to California when I'm 18 and going to a California community college for my first year and then I'm transferring to ucla. And I was wondering if I get my cosmetology license here in ohio will I have to redo it in California and retake the test since I will not have had it for 3 years? How would i go about doing this? And I don't want to wait until I move to California because I want to go straight to college. help!??!

She works at Starbucks at my college. We had a couple of small talks when I ordered, but that's pretty much it. She noticed that I get the same drink every time. I thought that was funny haha!
I forgot to mention that she started up the small talk, but maybe she's just being nice cause its her job. I want to ask her out to a movie or something, so I can get to know her. Is it a good idea to wait for her shift to be over and then ask her out? Let me know if you have a better idea.
Also, is it to soon to ask her out even though I haven't talk to her a lot. It's hard to talk to someone that's working if you know what I mean.

Okay, so the thing that pretty much scares me about college (or pretty much what people tell me) is after that, your life is pretty much set. I want to take time after college (And my service in the US Navy) to travel the world, i mean not like a 2 week vacation, but like a year or even more. But im worried if after college (and again, navy), i wont be able to find a job after i return from my travels. can anyone give me a little advice?

Usually yes. It makes potential employers wonder if you’ve forgot a lot of what you learned. And since you majored in something, how come you’re evidently not hungry to start really doing it.
However, you may be a special case. If you’re going to join the Navy after getting a college degree, you’ll almost automatically get in Officer’s Candidate School and hence be a Naval officer. That counts big.
As for the travel, I thought it was “Join the Navy and see the world!” How come you want to do still more? If you decide to take the year off, be sure you have a ready answer for the interviewer’s inevitable question as to why you did that and just how it has made you a better candidate for employment with his company.

but anyways i asked if he was going to the gym today he said yes 11 and then i mentioned i am going at 1pm. i ended up not going till 1:20 cause i had to get my nose looked at at a wlk in clinic then went to see if i could get help he wasnt there my friend who was at the gym texted me and told me that he just got to the gym so i went to the gym….so he didnt go at 11 or maybe he did and he also went at like the time i was there. so we ended up chatting a bit

I have just seriously liked, maybe even loved, someone for the first time in my life a few months ago. I think I came on a bit too strong being that it is hard for me to like a guy because I am always into my studies. However, he is very different, different from any man I have met. I am a transfer student from a private school into a public one so things are already very different from me. But I am still always my own self. Anyways, I met this person on the first day of school and we were looking for the same class. I, must I say, fell in "love at first sight" or more likely, I was enamored by his look. I have always dreamed of dating an oriental or middle Eastern man being that I myself am oriental. He told me that this was his very first year here and that he was from Syria. I know I don't stand a chance as a Chinese woman but there was he and I wanted to make him feel welcome (at first) and now like I guessed, I liked him. We were very close friends at first being that he was shy to interact with the other people around him and he misread my flirting as basically being friendly. Then, I did what I regret to do even now. He was talking to me and we were together and suddenly another guy drops in to say hi. I had met him before the first day of school and we became friends ( I learned later he liked me and then gradually now he does not). My dear Syrian friend was surprised to see the guy but I persuaded him that he was just my friend. Then, he talked about how he missed Syria so I empathized and understood that a lot but then he said he missed his Syrian girlfriend even more. I was like wt– but said nothing and just cried. That was the first week and I already revealed to him I liked him. Then he gave me a handshake but I hugged him. He hugged back with charity but I knew he didn't even want to. But I was and still am now madly in love with him. Even when he told me that he did not match with anyone who was not Syrian and even when he now is kind of scared of me. He is becoming much more distant now and is trying to make more friends without me. Now, he leaves the table where me and my friends sit for lunch and talks to other guys. I want to join the other guys but I want to appear dignified and that to show that I am not following him. There are so many other guys that show that they have feelings for me or find me attractive but I mind not any of them. I only want this one person so much that I'd wait for him till the end of high school and till the end of college. If only I could be sure that all this waiting would result in mutual feelings I would wait very, very long. To make him happier and more at home, I even introduced him to some middle eastern people, including a girl from Iraq who I KNEW liked him. Yes, I am MADLY in love.
Its been about three months now and he starts to reveal to one of my friends (who secretly tells me everything) that he feels insecure that his girlfriend no longer contacts him and he is still worried about her because of what happens in his home country. He is also worried that she may have someone else. I have always tried to help him- to understand the language, to feel happy here, to show that I too care about his history and country, to help him in his studies (although he doesn't need me- he is in all honors and AP classes even now), made index cards to help him study, cooked for him a few times some oriental meals, expressed my similar loves of learning, tried to speak a few words in Arabic, dressed myself more attractive, and now I am even trying to lose a lot more weight. But we are more distant now mostly due to my fault. I know what I am doing is probably wrong but what can I do?? How can I get him back to at least where we were before?? How can I forget about him when I think about him so often, what I would do unconditionally to show my love for him, and what I would do if we were together? I need to. Please help me.

I'm a recent college grad so I'm a bit new to this. I had a first on-site interview today and was wondering what I needed to do next. For the phone interview, she had reached me via e-mail so I sent a thank you email following the interview. There will need to be a second on-site interview before I am hired, so I waswondering if I needed to wait to sent a thank you card then or if doing it for both times was ok, or if for now I needed to do another email. (This in person interview and the phone was was with the same lady).
